is an independent, long established company, formed by a qualified aromatherapist, naturopath and herbalist.  Today, its nucleus is a world wide community of growers, therapists and businesses dedicated to providing the best from nature and upholding traditional  values.  Fragrant Earth is not part of a buying group or bulk buying consortium.  From the start, we recognised the importance, long before it became fashionable, that whole, unadulterated oils were the best for health.  As life-long members of the UKs lead body in organic standards, the Soil Association, we set out to source organic and wild-crafted products.
 

FRAGRANT EARTH
are entirely naturopathic in approach and philosophy.  Chemical analysis, quality control and standards are a vital part of our approach, but principally we recognise the primary importance of the plant itself.  We attempt to work with the vital energies of plant material and give to you all that nature intended, as near to nature as is practical with optimal results.

Fragrance or quality of aroma is our key determining factor.  Just like wine this can vary from year to year, even field to field.  We work with the people who each really know their art, who know how and why the variations and differences occur at any given time, i.e. growers, distillers and aroma experts.  Likewise, our extracts, vegetable oils and other materials are supplied with the full spectrum of active matters as provided by nature itself.
