HERBAL OILS
A herbal oil, or phytol, is a maceration or infusion of herbs in a vegetable oil.  The infusion method may be hot, cold or under vacuum and Quality Controls are devised to maintain the constituents in an active and available state.
HYDROLATS
Hydrolats are also known as Hydrosols and Floral Waters.  They are the waters used in the production or distillation of essential oils.  They are condensed waters from aromatic steam.

ABSOLUTES
Absolutes are not essential oils.  They are a creation of the perfumery industry to provide fragrance materials and, to a lesser extent, flavourings for the food and alcohol industries.  Fragrant compounds are extracted from natural materials by various solvents or synthesised.  These solvents may include hexane, toluene and petrol ether.  Absolutes are designed to dissolve in alcohol.  Other extraction processes include CO2 and butane using high pressure techniques.  Fragrant Earth Absolutes are not synthetic constructions and are not diluted, so are very economic in use.

PLANT MILKS
Plant Milks are effective moisturising and re-structuring emulsions that have been developed to work with essential oils.  They are excellent hair and skin conditioners empowering astheticians and arometherapists to provide superior aromatic skincare.

HIVE PRODUCTS
High summer and the lazy hum of bees as they fly between flowers.  Bees provide wax for salves, balms, and thinkening emulsions.  Propolis for its antiseptic properties and Royal Jelly for its nutritive and anti-aging properties.  Aromatherapy from the beehive.

BASES FOR HEALTH & COSMETICS
