Fragrant Earth are entirely naturopathic in approach and philosophy. Chemical analysis, quality control and standards are a vital part of our approach but principally we recognise the primary importance of the plant itself. Careful attention is given to monitoring the plant at all stages of growth, production, distillation or extraction, and storage. We attempt to work with the vital energies of plant material and give to you all that nature intended, as near to nature as is practical with optimal results. Fragrance or quality of aroma is our key determining factor. Just like wine this varies from year to year, even field to field, and we rely on the expertise of long-qualified, reliable "noses" to guide us. Because Fragrant Earth want WHOLE, VITAL oils we work with people who each really know their art, i.e. growers, distillers and aroma experts.
